We specialize in handling garments on hangers.

Thousands of garments on hangers are processed annually by Rockit Transport Services, for leading retailers all over the world.

Garments are received in our warehouse, which is protected from humidity and dust, and stored on racks ready for delivery or export. Garments are sorted by type, style, customer, colors and sizes, and an inspection takes place to ensure that there is no damage. Any shortage is reported immediately so distribution and export schedules are not affected.

We build our own metal hanging frames inside the container, with a simple bar-and-string system for the garments. Garments are consolidated and shipped in these specially fitted full container loads, or on standard air freight pallets fitted with the same system, and arrive anywhere in the world ready for the shop floor.

Chemicals

Rockit Transport Services works extensively with petro-chemical refiners and manufacturers of paints, industrial solvents and chemicals, distributing by road throughout Egypt and into Africa.
Hazardous cargo is accepted on most routes and processed by personnel trained in the regulatory and handling requirements of these products.
Cosmetics, pharmaceutical and healthcare materials are also handled with maximum care by our well-trained staff and drivers.

Fresh fruit and vegetables are the main commodities shipped out of Egypt – in particular during winter most flights are full of perishable shipments going mainly
to Europe and the Gulf region.
Egypt's fertile soil produces excellent produce, and demand to ship it is increasing year after year.
Rockit Transport Services is always dealing with such commodities and provides all related logistics services.
Cooling is always available at the airport through the perishables unit, which maintains the required temperatures so the cold chain is unbroken until arrival at the final destination.
We will provide the requested space on different Airlines all year round to secure capacity for our customers.

Foodstuffs

As with perishables, we provide the best logistics services to ensure safe and secure transportation for this type of freight.

Our customs clearance department knows every requirement for shipping these products, including all the documentation that needs to be addressed.

We professionally handle fresh and dry foodstuffs, and we are always able to secure suitable capacity on the best airlines to ensure departure as requested.

Cooling facilities can be provided at the Airport if needed to keep the product in good condition.

Chartering

Rockit Transport Services provides ad-hoc charter services on request. Through our offices and agents around the globe, we arrange charters on the route you need, handled by
expert and professional teams.
All related services are provided inbound and outbound.
Competitive rates are quoted according to season, commodity type and demand.
We apply on behalf of our customers for all necessary approvals and traffic rights in conjunction with the authorities.

Livestock

Rockit Transport Services handles the movement of live animals from Cairo in line with IATA regulations and airline requirements.

We obtain all approvals, and we are able to arrange suitable IATA-compliant kennels and cages with all airlines.

We are well aware of how our customers are emotionally attached to their pets, in particular dogs and cats, so our concern is to treat these animals just like their owners would.

We check the destination’s rabies-control and import requirements in advance so that pets arrive as planned and as booked.

​

Before departure from Cairo we obtain all certificates and needed documents to ensure on time departure.

We ensure the safety of the live animals through transportation by air.

We comply with the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR), the worldwide standard for the transportation of live animals.
